Setting up Trust Center for Salesforce (Classic)

Once you have the Responsive package installed and set up on your Salesforce account you can set up Profile Center.

Permissions

You must have the System Administrator privilege in Salesforce to complete the installation.

Prerequisites

As a prerequisite, you must have the Responsive package installed and set up on your Salesforce account. To install and configure Responsive on Salesforce, follow the instructions mentioned in the article below.

If you have the Responsive package installed already you can skip this step.

Setting Up Profile Center on Salesforce (Classic)

Once you have installed and set up Responsive on Salesforce, follow the steps below create a new section for Profile Center.

  1. Login to Salesforce and go to Opportunities.
  2. Select an opportunity, then click Edit Layout.
    Note: If there are not opportunities you can create one by clicking Create New > Opportunity.
  3. Select Visualforce pages from the list.
  4. Create a new section for Profile Center by dragging Section into the opportunity.
  5. On the Section Properties pop-up, enter Responsive Profile Center in the Section Name field, select the 1-Column radio button for the layout, then click OK.
  6. Click and drag ResponsiveProfileCenterOpportunity into the newly created section.
  7. Enable the Visualforce page on every Salesforce profile (or create a permission set and give it to individual users) that needs access.
  8. Once the Visualforce page has been added, click the Properties icon or double-click on the layout to open the Visualforce Page Properties pop-up.
  9. Enter 600 or 800 in the Height (in pixels) field depending on the screen size and resolution you are using. If needed, you can also enable scrollbars for better view on devices with lower resolution.
  10. Click Save to save the layout.
    • You will be navigated to the opportunity with the Profile Center pane.
    • You can now perform the following actions on Salesforce:
      • View published profiles
      • Share profiles
      • Launch Responsive Profile Center from Salesforce
