Changing or resetting your password

Overview

You can change or reset your login password from within your Responsive account settings at any time. 

If you forget your password, or if your account gets locked after three incorrect attempts, you can reset it by contacting your admin.

The admin can perform a forced password reset, The reset will not trigger an email notification. You will be prompted to reset your password the next time you try to sign in, and you’ll be automatically redirected to the password reset page.

Changing your password in My Account

  1. Go to My Account, then click the Settings tab and click Update Password.

  2. Enter your current password, then enter and confirm your new password.

  3. Click Update.

Resetting Your Password in My Account

  1. Go to My Account, the click the Settings tab and click Update Password.

  2. Click the Forgot Your Password link, then click Done to confirm.

  3. Once your receive the Reset Your Password email, click the Reset Password link to create a new password.

Resetting your password if you can't log in

  1. Do one of the following:

    • If you forgot your password, go to https://app.rfpio.com/v2/forgotpassword, enter your registered email ID, then click Send me the link to have a password reset email sent to you.

    • If you entered your password wrong and get locked out of your account, click the Reset your password link to have a password reset email sent to you.

  2. Open the email and click Reset password.

  3. Enter your new password, confirm it, then click Reset Password. You can now login to Responsive using your new password.

Password reset email not received

The password reset email is sent to the email address associated with your account. If the email address on file is incorrect or outdated, you will not receive the reset link. Additionally, password reset emails may be blocked, filtered, or delivered to your spam/junk folder.

Resolution:

  1. Verify that the email address associated with the account is correct and up to date.

  2. If needed, have an administrator update the email address in the system.

  3. Log out and initiate the password reset process again.

  4. Check your spam/junk folder for the reset email.

  5. Ensure that emails from the application's notification (notifications@rfpio.com) are whitelisted and not blocked by your email system.
