If you're having trouble accessing SharePoint documents:
Check if you have the correct permissions to view the documents.
Note: The folder- and file-level permissions set in SharePoint carry over to Responsive.
Disconnect your SharePoint account and reconnect it.
Note: All configurations, indexed folders, files and permissions are removed when you remove the SharePoint integration so the data can’t be used by Responsive AI.
If you're having trouble using SharePoint with Ask, try the following:
Make sure SharePoint has been configured as an external data source in Organization Settings. Navigate to Organization Settings > Responsive AI > External Data Source. If it isn't listed, connect it as described in the link above.
Rephrase the question. Instead of specifying that Responsive AI generate an answer from SharePoint, ask the question directly and allow Responsive AI to determine the source.
Make sure the content has been added to the site and folder, and that it has been indexed.
Note: When a new SharePoint site is created, it can take up to 24 hours to be fetched and listed in Responsive.
Verify you have permission to access both the SharePoint folder and the collection in Responsive (if collections are used).
Note: The folder- and file-level permissions set in SharePoint carry over to Responsive.
If you're using the Admin Consent Link method, and the IT admin doesn't have access, switch to the Client ID and Secret Key method. See Connecting to SharePoint with a Client ID and Secret Key for more information.
