Using auto-identification with Microsoft Excel imports

Overview

Content (such as sections, questions, and answers) can be auto-identified and marked while importing Microsoft Excel files, saving time for users.

  • Over time, the application learns from user activity and becomes more intelligent. Until then, auto-identification may not appear with every imported documents.
  • In order for the system to learn, header rows are required.

Using auto-identification with Microsoft Excel imports

  1. Import the Excel spreadsheet.
  2. Select the sheets that can be auto-identified and click Confirm.
  3. Review the document and start the auto-identification process.
    1. The document appears marked and a confirmation message displays.
    2. Auto-Identification can be started at any time by clicking the Lightning Bolt icon at the top of the screen.
    3. Specific sheets within a document can be auto-identified by clicking This sheet can be Auto-Identified.
    4. Sheets that have been auto-identified appear with the lightning/checkmark symbol.
