When exporting questionnaire responses, you can now customize the name of the exported file before downloading it. This feature helps you create meaningful file names that are easier to identify and organize, eliminating the need to manually rename files after download.
Previously, exported files used a system-generated name based on the project or document. With this enhancement, you can specify a custom file name during the export process.
After reviewing the draft that is generated by the Answering Agent, select Export.
In the export dialog, review the File name field.
The field is automatically populated with the original document name.
The file extension is displayed to the right of the field and cannot be edited.
Enter a new file name if required.
You can use alphanumeric characters, underscores (_), and hyphens (-).
Select Export.
The system generates the exported file using the file name that you provided.
The following validation rules apply when entering a file name:
The file name field cannot be empty.
If you attempt to export without a file name, an inline error message appears:
File name cannot be empty
The file extension remains read-only and cannot be modified.
For ZIP exports, the custom name is applied to the generated ZIP file. Files contained within the ZIP retain their original names. The metadata file generated during export includes the user-provided file name together with the metadata file extension.
