Public Cloud Infrastructure and Hosting Regions

Updated 12 days ago

Overview

Responsive is a cloud-native platform designed for high availability, security, and scalability. This article provides details on our underlying cloud infrastructure and the geographic regions where customer data can be hosted.

Cloud Infrastructure Provider

Responsive relies on Amazon Web Services (AWS) as its primary public cloud infrastructure provider. AWS provides the core computing, storage, and networking services that power the Responsive Strategic Response Management (SRM) platform.

Hosting Regions

To meet global data residency and performance requirements, Responsive offers multiple hosting regions. During the onboarding process, customers can elect the region where their services and data will be hosted.

The primary hosting region is AWS US West, with data centers located across Oregon and California, United States.

Additional available hosting regions include:

Canada

Central Canada

European Union

United Kingdom

London

Australia

Sydney

Asia-Pacific

Singapore

Data Residency and Redundancy

  • Data Residency: All customer data, including files, attachments, and Content Library entries, remains within the customer's selected deployment region.

  • High Availability: Responsive utilizes multiple AWS Availability Zones (AZs) within each region. This ensures that if one data center experiences an issue, services automatically failover to another zone within the same jurisdiction to maintain continuity.

  • Physical Security: AWS manages the physical security of the data centers. For security reasons, the exact physical addresses of these facilities are not publicly disclosed.

Special Deployment Options

AWS GovCloud

For US government agencies and contractors requiring adherence to rigorous regulatory standards (such as FedRAMP or ITAR), Responsive offers a GovCloud deployment option. In this environment, data is stored and processed exclusively in the United States using AWS GovCloud regions.

Dedicated Cloud

Enterprise customers may also opt for a Dedicated Cloud Deployment, which provides dedicated cloud resources to a single organization, further isolating the environment while maintaining the same regional hosting benefits.
