Overview

The Chrome extension (Third-party portal automation) enables you to efficiently complete questionnaires by providing AI-powered answer suggestions directly within supported platforms.

This guide walks you through enabling the required features, installing the browser extension, and configuring the necessary settings.

To get started, contact your Account Manager to ensure following features are enabled:

• Responsive LookUp

• Third-party portal automation

These features are required for the extension and portal-based answering capabilities to function correctly.

Step 1: Install the Responsive LookUp Extension

Supported Browsers

• Google Chrome

• Microsoft Edge

The LookUp extension allows you to access AI-powered answers directly within questionnaire platforms.

Installation Steps

Google Chrome:

1. Follow the link to install Responsive® LookUp for Chrome from the Chrome Web Store.

2. Click Add to Chrome, then confirm by selecting Add extension.

3. Launch the extension from the Chrome toolbar (Extensions icon).

4. Log in using your Responsive credentials.

Microsoft Edge:

1. Follow the link to install Responsive® LookUp for Edge from the Microsoft Add-ons store.

2. Click Get, then select Add extension to confirm.

3. Launch the extension from the Edge toolbar (Extensions icon).

4. Log in using your Responsive credentials.

Step 2: Launch the Extension

Once installed, you can activate the extension while working on a supported questionnaire.

Note: This extension is designed to support most third-party portals and has been verified to work on the following platforms:

• Whistic

• OneTrust

• Coupa

• Venminder

• BitSight

• Hologic

How to Use

1. Navigate to a supported questionnaire page.

2. Click the Extensions icon in your browser toolbar.

3. Select Responsive® LookUp.

4. The extension will open and be ready for use.

The extension allows you to quickly retrieve relevant answers and streamline your workflow without leaving the questionnaire interface.

Respond in Bulk

You can use Respond in bulk here option to automatically generate and apply answers to multiple questions within a portal using the Answering Agent.

How does it work?

When triggered, the Answering Agent scans the portal, identifies questions and sections, and fills in responses using data from the Content Library. You can monitor progress in real time and stop the process at any point.

Using Respond in bulk here

1. Open the portal and launch the Responsive LookUp Chrome/Edge extension.

2. Click Respond in bulk here to initiate the process.

3. (Optional) Provide additional instructions to guide how responses should be generated.

4. (Optional) Apply filters by selecting collections or tags to refine the responses.
   

5. Click Send icon to begin discovering and applying answers.

Tracking Progress in Real Time

• The panel displays Finding and applying answers.

• Sections and questions appear as they are processed.

• A checkmark appears next to successfully answered questions.

  

Reviewing Responses

• Fields are automatically populated with relevant answers.

• If no answer is found, the field remains unfilled or is flagged accordingly.

Additional Actions

• Click Stop at any time to halt the process.

• Click Details to view comprehensive information for each question.

• Attachments, if available, can be downloaded and added manually.

• Conditional questions are automatically identified and answered during the process.

• Multiple answer types are supported.

• Clicking a question in the extension highlights the corresponding question in the portal.

Permissions

Only AI Business Users with Responsive AI > Auto-fill permission enabled can initiate the process.

Notes

• The Answering Agent processes questions one section at a time.

• You can continue working or navigate between tabs while responses are being applied. A notification will be sent once the process is complete.

• Always review auto-filled responses before finalizing your submission.

Export to Responsive

The Export to Responsive feature allows you to extract questions from a portal and import them into Responsive as a project, where you can complete responses.

How it works

The Export to Responsive option detects questionnaire sections and questions from the portal and imports them into a Responsive project. You can then use Responsive’s authoring and review workflows to draft, collaborate on, and finalize responses at the project or section level.

When done, return to the portal, relaunch the extension, and auto-fill the finalized responses into the web form.

Using Export to Responsive

1. Open the portal and launch the Responsive LookUp Chrome/Edge extension.

2. Click Export Questions to export the questionnaire.

3. Navigate to Projects to access the exported questionnaire.

   

4. Collaborate with your team using the author-reviewer workflow.

5. Complete the required sections or the entire project.

6. Return to the portal and launch the Responsive LookUp extension.

7. Select the appropriate project.

8. Click Apply Answers to auto-fill responses.

   

9. Click Details to view additional information, if needed.

10. Download and add attachments manually, if required.

Additional Information

• A clear indication is shown in Responsive when a project is created from a web portal.

• All related activities are logged for tracking purposes.

• Sections that are not marked as complete will display Awaiting answers instead of Apply Answers, indicating that the section is not yet completed in the project.

• Conditional questions are not included in this export flow. You can answer them manually or use Ask to generate responses on the portal.
