Adding catalogs to a proposal template

Updated 6 days ago

Overview

Catalogs in Responsive are organized under catalog structures and sections. When you create a catalog under a specific section, it is available in Proposal Builder only if the following conditions are met:

  • The proposal template includes the corresponding section.

  • The catalog is configured to be available in the template by using one of the supported visibility options:

    • All

    • Specific

    • Tags

If the required section is not included in the proposal template, or the catalog is excluded by the configured visibility filter, the catalog does not appear during proposal generation, even though it is available in the Content Library.

Permissions

To edit proposal templates, you must have one of the following:

  • Proposal Builder Admin role.

  • Create and Update Proposal Template permission.

Feature functionality

Follow these steps to make a catalog available in a proposal template:

  1. Go to Proposal Builder > Templates.

  2. Open the proposal template that you want to update.
