Creating and assigning role-based sequential edit override permissions

Updated 16 days ago

Overview

Normally, all sequential reviews must be performed in order; however, Admins have the ability to create and assign roles that grant the permission to override sequential reviews. This allows users with authorized roles to edit and complete reviews for Q&A content even if they’re not the assigned reviewers.
Note: Only users roles with override permission can override sequential review restrictions. Unauthorized users must continue to follow the standard sequential review workflow without exception.

This feature applies to both on-demand and scheduled reviews.

Permissions

Only Admins can create authorized override roles and assign them to users.
