Subsections help organize related questions within a questionnaire section, making it easier to structure information and improve the responder's experience. You can create one or more subsections within a section to group questions based on specific topics or categories.

To create a new subsection:
Open the required Request Project.
From the left navigation pane, click Questionnaire.
Click +New Section dropdown.
Select Add Manual Sections.
Enter the designated name for the subsection.
Note: Multiple subsection names may be added as needed. All added sections will maintain an identical level of indentation.
Select the appropriate Parent Section under which the subsections should be categorized.
Note: The parent section menu displays all existing sections and subsections. When you select a parent section, the section name field displays the preview.
Add authors and reviewers.
Click Add. Repeat the process if additional subsections are required.
To convert a section into a subsection:
Open the required Request Project.
From the left navigation pane, click Questionnaire.
Identify and select the section you want to convert.
Click the three dot (More Options) menu.
Select the Edit Section. The edit section window appears.
Select the Parent Section from the dropdown
Note: The parent section menu displays all existing sections and subsections.
Add authors and reviewers.
Click Add.
Note: You can use the same procedure to relocate or move any section or subsection into a different parent section or subsection as needed.
A subsection must be created within an existing section.
The availability of subsection settings depends on your organization's configuration.
Questions added to a subsection are displayed under that subsection when responders complete the questionnaire.
