Overview

Controlling user access in Responsive's Request Project requires a clear understanding of roles and permissions. This section outlines the permissions associated with each standard and custom role.

Roles and permissions

Super Admin

Request Projects: Access all Request Projects within the organization. View, create, manage, and publish projects.

Responder Management: Manage responders from both the Request and Responder tabs.

Scorecard and Scoring Management: Create and manage scorecards and scoring. View all responder submissions, evaluator scores, and the leaderboard.

Templates: Access and manage all templates created across the organization.

Organization Settings: Manage configuration settings, including custom fields, users, integrations, and security options. Create roles and manage business units when this feature is enabled.

Admin (All Permissions)

Request Projects: Access all Request Projects across the organization. Create, manage, and publish projects. Manage responders.

Responder Management: Manage responders from both the Request and Responder tabs.

Scorecard and Scoring Management: Create and manage scorecards and scoring. View all responses and scores. Maintain the leaderboard.

Templates: Access and manage all templates within the organization.

Organization Settings: Configure Request settings, including users, integrations, custom fields, and security options.

Manager

Request Projects: View, create, manage, and publish only the projects they initiate.

Responder Management: Manage responders from both the Request and Responder tabs.

Scorecard and Scoring Management: Manage scorecards and scoring assignments. View all responder responses and evaluator scores.

Templates: Access and manage templates they created or that are assigned to them.

Team Member

Request Projects: View assigned Requests. Manage assigned sections or sections they create.

Templates: View all templates. Manage only assigned templates.

Evaluator

Request Projects: View only requests assigned to them.

Scorecard and Scoring Management: View responder responses for assigned sections. Score the sections assigned to them.

Creating custom roles

Super Admins create and configure custom roles to control access to Request Project features. To create a custom role:

  1. Navigate to Organization Settings > Users > Manage Roles.

  2. Select Add Role.

  3. Enable Request Project.

  4. Configure the required permissions.
