AI Draft helps bid writers and bid managers generate responses for response projects, including RFPs, RFIs, DDQs, security questionnaires, and similar questionnaires. In Organization Settings, administrators can choose what AI Draft uses when generating answers.
The available answer modes are:
Content Library answers only: AI Draft uses trusted answers from the Content Library.
Content Library answers and AI-generated answers: AI Draft uses Content Library answers first and, when needed, generates new AI-powered responses.
This setting helps organizations control how much generative AI is used in the response process. It is especially useful for customers in regulated, compliance-heavy, or brand-sensitive environments that prefer to reuse approved content rather than introducing generated text.
To specify the AI Draft answer mode, navigate to Organization Settings, and then click Responsive AI > Preferences. Select the radio button for the mode you want to use.
Select this mode when you want AI Draft to use approved, existing content from the Content Library.
Use this mode when:
Your organization wants to prioritize trusted, reviewed content.
Subject matter experts, compliance teams, legal teams, or other stakeholders have already approved the content.
You want to reduce review cycles and maintain consistency in submitted responses.
You want to avoid generated text.
With this mode, bid writers use approved responses that already reflect company-approved language.
Select this mode when you want AI Draft to first use Content Library content and then optionally generate additional content when needed.
Use this mode when:
You want to preserve a content-first workflow while still allowing Generative AI to fill gaps.
Your Content Library does not contain a complete answer for every question.
You want bid writers to improve, expand, or optimize responses after reusing approved content.
With this mode, users apply existing content but can use generated AI to tailor the response to the questionnaire and audience.
