Through the Responsive LookUp browser extension, users can generate and apply answers directly in supported portals using trusted Content Library knowledge.
A: Respond within portal is the generally available Portal Automation capability. It uses the Answering Agent to identify questions and sections in a third-party portal, generate relevant answers from the Content Library, and apply those answers directly in the portal.
A: Respond within portal reduces the time and rework required to complete external questionnaires. Teams can use approved organizational knowledge directly in the portal while retaining control to review responses before submitting.
A: Open a supported questionnaire portal, launch the Responsive LookUp extension, and select Respond within portal. You can optionally add instructions or filter the Content Library by collections or tags, then start the process. Responsive discovers questions, generates answers, and applies them section by section.
A: Yes. The extension shows progress as it finds and applies answers, including the sections and questions being processed. Users can select Stop at any point. They can also continue working or move to other browser tabs while processing continues and receive a notification when it is complete.
A: The field is left unfilled or flagged for review. Users should complete any remaining questions manually and review all generated responses before submitting the questionnaire.
A: Yes. Before starting Respond within portal, users can provide additional instructions and select Content Library collections or tags to focus the Answering Agent on the most relevant approved knowledge.
A: Respond within portal supports multiple answer types and can identify and answer conditional questions as they appear. Actual behavior can vary by portal, questionnaire design, and the portal’s custom configuration.
A: Yes. Select Details in the extension to view more information for each question. Selecting a question in the extension also highlights the corresponding question in the portal.
A: If attachments are available, users can download them from the extension and add them to the portal manually.

Certified portals are validated across the vast majority of questionnaire types and workflows. Partially supported portals are validated for specific scenarios, so some question types or portal customizations may require manual handling.
A: Responsive LookUp is available for Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge.
A: Your organization must have Responsive AI, Responsive LookUp, and Third-party Portal Automation enabled. You must install the Responsive LookUp browser extension and sign in with your Responsive credentials. Your Account Manager or Responsive Support can help with enablement.
A: AI Business Users with the Responsive AI > Auto-fill permission enabled can start the process.
A: No. Export to Responsive remains in beta. It allows users to extract a portal questionnaire into a Responsive project for authoring, collaboration, review, and completion before applying finalized answers back to the portal. The current GA release applies only to Respond within portal.
A: Yes. Respond within portal accelerates completion, but users remain responsible for reviewing generated answers, validating any conditional questions and attachments, and confirming the final submission meets the portal’s requirements.
A: Submit a portal-support request through the Share a portal form. Include the portal name, URL or domain, and a description of the issue. Temporary access or a sample questionnaire is optional but can help Responsive validate the workflow more quickly. Only share content you are authorized to provide.
A: No. Each submission helps Responsive prioritize and validate additional portals, but support depends on the portal’s structure and the workflows that can be reliably automated.
