Tables may be incorporated into Request Project responses utilizing the Type dropdown menu. The implementation of tables facilitates the clear organization and presentation of structured data in an easily digestible format. By arranging related content into rows and columns, tables enable readers to efficiently compare and analyze information.
Tables can be introduced either by the Issuer during addition of a question or by the Responder (Vendor) when submitting a response.
As an issuer, to add a table type response while creating a question:
Navigate to the Questionnaire tab in your project.
Select the section where you want to add the table.
Click + Add New Question.
In the Answer Type dropdown, select Table.
Click Add
Click Edit Response. Rename the headers or edit the table as required using the tool.
Click Save.
As a responder, to add a table type response:
Navigate to the desired Request Project.
Click Questionnaire from the left menu.
Identify and select the section or subsection.
Select the required question.
Select Table from the Type dropdown.
Click Edit Response. You can rename the headers or edit the table using the tools and Save.
Click Save.
Formulas may be incorporated into table-type responses to streamline pricing-related entries, minimize manual data input, and maintain data accuracy. This functionality provides the following capabilities:
Automated computation of values derived from cost, quantity, or specific business logic.
Direct presentation of calculated summary totals within the response table.
