Installing Trust Center in Salesforce (Lightning)

Once you have the Responsive package installed and set up on your Salesforce account you can set up Profile Center.

Permissions

You must have the System Administrator privilege in Salesforce to complete the installation.

Prerequisites

As a prerequisite, you must have the Responsive package installed and set up on your Salesforce account. To install and configure Responsive on Salesforce, follow the instructions mentioned in the article below.

If you have the Responsive package installed already you can skip this step.

Installing Profile Center in Salesforce (Lightning)

  1. Login to Salesforce and open the AppExchange by doing one of the following:
    Note: If you need to create a Salesforce account, visit https://developer.salesforce.com/signup.
    • Click Setup Menu at the top right of the page and select Edit Page, then select Get More on the AppExchange from the left-hand menu and click Go to AppExchange.
    • Click the App Launcher icon at the top left corner and click View All, then click Visit AppExchange.
  2. Type Responsive in the Search box and click Enter, select Responsive from the options that appear, then click Get It Now.
  3. Choose the Salesforce account where you want to install Responsive and click Install in Production.
  4. Agree to the terms and conditions and click Confirm and Install.
  5. Re-login to your Salesforce account to continue with the installation.
  6. Select Install for All Users and click Install. This can take up to two minutes; if it takes longer you'll receive an email notifying you when it's complete.
    Note: You can also choose to make the app available to Admins or specific profiles only.
    • Install for Admins Only: After installation, if you have Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, or Developer Edition, you can set the appropriate user and object permissions on custom profiles as needed.
    • Install for Specific Profiles: Enables you to choose the usage access for all custom profiles in your organization. You can set each profile to have full access or no access for the new package and all its components.
    • Install for All Users: Sets permissions to allow all internal custom profiles to have full access for the application.
  7. Click Done to complete the installation process.
  8. Once the Salesforce Responsive package is installed, follow the instructions in Configuring the Salesforce integration in Responsive for Profile Center to connect Salesforce from Responsive.
