Applying star ratings to content in the Content Library

Overview

Star ratings help prioritize the order of question and answer recommendations (Q&A pairs) and content while responding to questionnaires. They optimize content in the Content Library, ensuring strong recommendations are presented first and reducing/removing weak recommendations. Star ratings can be updated within the Content Library and by editing Q&A pairs in the Recommendation Engine at the question level in projects.

To assign greater favorability to questions and answers in the Recommendation Engine, or to devalue questions and answers so they are not available via the default Recommendation Engine. However, users can still find 0 star rating content via search.

Permissions

Only Admins and Content Owners can edit star ratings.

Applying Star Ratings to Content in the Content Library

Rating individual content

  1. Click on the star rating in the content card to edit the rating. Alternatively, you can click the Edit edit_icon.png icon next to the content you want to apply the star rating to.
  2. Expand the Metadata section and click on the star rating to apply it, then click Save.

Bulk rating content

  1. Click the checkboxes in front of the content you want to apply the star rating to (or click Select All); then click More > Other Bulk Options.
  2. Scroll down to the Privacy, Usage and Review section, click the Star Rating box, and click on the star rating to apply it; then click Save.
