Overview
You can invite guest users to view/review your projects. They can be assigned individual questions as well as entire sections.
You can also remove/reassign guest users. See Reassigning sections and questions to guest users for more information.
Assigning sections to guests
Assigning guests from the Guests column
You can use this process to assign guests to sections if there are no existing guests.
- On the Sections page, click the Add icon
in the Guests column for that section.
- Enter the guests email address, then do one of the following:
- If you want to take additional actions (such as send a message to the guest, track the message as a comment, or queue notifications and send them at once), click the More Options link and complete the information, then click Save.
- If you don't want to take additional actions, click Add.
Assigning guests from the Manage Users pane
You can use this process to assign additional guests to sections.
- On the Sections page, click the More Options menu associated with the section and select Manage Users.
- The Manage Users pane appears, defaulting to the Authors tab. Click the Guests tab.
- Click
and enter the guests email address.
- (Optional) Send a message to the guest, track the message as a comment, or queue notifications and send them at once.
- Click Save.
Assigning guests to sections in bulk
- On the the Sections page, select the checkboxes for the sections you want to assign to the guest or check the box next to the Section Name to select all items on the page, then click Manage Users.
- When the Manage Users pop-up appears click the Guests tab.
- The Assign Guest radio button is selected by default. Enter the guest's email address, then do the following as necessary:
- Click Message Guest(s) to enter comments which will be sent with an email notifying them of their access to the project. The guest will only have access to the sections of the project to which they are assigned.
- Turn on the Queue & Notify Later toggle if you are assigning the same user to multiple items so they only get one notification for all their assignments.
- Click Save.

Assigning individual questions
- On the Answering page, click the More Options menu for the question you want to assign and select Manage Users.
- The Manage Users pane appears, defaulting to the Authors tab. Click the Guests tab.
- Click
and enter the guests email address.
Note: If there are no guests already assigned, click Add Guests. - (Optional) Send a message to the guest, track the message as a comment, or queue notifications and send them at once.
- Click Save.
Assigning questions in bulk
- On the Answering page, select the checkboxes for the sections you want to assign to the guest or check the Select All box to select all items on the page, then click Users.
- The Manage Users pane appears, defaulting to the Authors tab. Click the Guests tab.
- Click
and enter the guests email address.
