Using Images in Responses

Overview

The rich text editor allows users to include images in responses. Adding images as part of responses is useful for including items such as charts, diagrams, logos, and icons. The following file types are accepted:

  • .jpg
  • .png
  • .gif

The larger the image file, the better the resolution.

  • We automatically resize images to a max-width of 700px to better fit within the confines of the Response field.
  • Upon export, the image resizes to fit the margin dimensions of the file the responses are inserted into.

Starting with a higher resolution image means a higher quality image upon export.

Select the applicable tab for your edition of Responsive.

    1. Click the Image Embed Upload icon to Insert your image into the text.
Note: Use the insert image function when adding an image to a response rather than copying and pasting in order to retain higher image quality and to use the text wrapping feature in the rich text editor.
    2. Click the image to highlight it, then click the appropriate icon to align it, or edit it.
  • Essentials features are subscription-based and may not be available for all users. Contact your account manager, or accountmanagers@responsive.io, for more details.
