Updating the Salesforce baseURL

Overview

You can update the baseURL in Salesforce.

If some one from Salesforce is accessing a Responsive sandbox or other domain, while clicking Connect to Responsive, and needs to be redirected to a specific domain instead of redirecting to app.rfpio.com.

Select the applicable tab for your edition of Responsive.

  • Updating the Salesforce BaseURL

    1. Login to Salesforce, then click Setup from the top right navigation bar.
    2. From the left navigation pane, go to Build > Develop > Events > Custom Settings.

    3. The Custom Settings page will be displayed. Click Manage near Responsive Settings.

    4. The ResponsiveSettings page will be displayed. Do one of the following:

      • Click Edit associated with baseURL if the baseURL is already displayed.
      • Click New if the baseURL is not displayed.
    5. The ResponsiveSettings Edit page will be displayed. Enter the name as baseURL.
    6. Enter your desired domain as the ResponsiveBaseUrl (https://sb01.rfpio.com, for example).
    7. Click Save.mceclip0.png
    8. When you click Connect to Responsive from the object’s page, you will be redirected to the domain specified as the baseURL (here it redirects to sb01.rfpio.com).
