Traceability Matrix Overview

Overview

Requirements Analysis is a paid add-on. Contact your account manager for more information.

A Traceability matrix is a document used in the Request for Proposal (RFP) process to ensure that all requirements outlined in the RFP are met by the proposed solution. It is used to track and map the requirements outlined in the RFP to the corresponding solutions.

The Traceability matrix plays a vital role as it ensures that each requirement is addressed by the proposed solution and vendors will also have the clarity of what exactly is expected from them. It also helps in identifying any gaps or discrepancies in the solutions proposed by the vendors. Overall it facilitates effective communication and management of requirements throughout the RFP process.
