Setting up Single Sign-On - Salesforce (Lightning)

Overview

Salesforce enables you to login using Single Sign-On (SSO), if the SSO option is enabled for your organization.

Permissions

Users must have the System Administrator privilege in Salesforce and Company Administrator privilege in the Responsive app to complete the installation.

Select the applicable tab for your edition of Responsive.

  • Enabling SSO

      1. Go to Organization Settings > Integrations. The CRM tab is displayed by default. Click the toggle to enable it.

      2. Select Org Settings - Integration - Configuration.png for Salesforce to display the configuration settings.

      3. Copy the Company ID.

      4. From Salesforce, click the Settings mceclip1.png icon and select Setup.
      5. Search Custom Settings from the Quick Find search box and select the Custom Settings result.
      6. Click Manage associated with configuration.
      7. Click New.

      8. On the Configuration Edit page, specify the name.

      9. Enter the Company ID copied in step 2.
      10. Click Save.
  • Essentials features are subscription-based and may not be available for all users. Contact your account manager, or accountmanagers@responsive.io, for more details.

    Enabling SSO

      1. Go to Organization Settings > Integrations. The CRM tab is displayed by default. Click the toggle to enable it.

      2. Select Org Settings - Integration - Configuration.png for Salesforce to display the configuration settings.

      3. Copy the Company ID.

      4. From Salesforce, click the Settings mceclip1.png icon and select Setup.

      6. Click Manage associated with configuration.
      7. Click New.
