Setting Up Responsive LookUp for Microsoft Outlook

LookUp is an add-on feature and must be enabled prior to use. Contact your account manager, or accountmanagers@responsive.io, to enable it.

LookUp for Microsoft Outlook allows you to use content stored in Responsive in your emails, calendar items and more without accessing Responsive. By keeping your curated content in one central location, you streamline your responses without sacrificing accuracy.

Respond to questions in an email with information from your Responsive Answer Library.

Setting Up Responsive LookUp for Microsoft Outlook

You can set up the online or offline version of the product.

Select the applicable tab for your edition of Responsive.

    Setting Up the Online Version

    1. On the Microsoft Edge home page, click the Apps icon to display the pop-up menu, and then click Add-Ins.
    2. Search for Responsive in Add-ins, and then click Responsive LookUp for Outlook from the list.
    3. On the Responsive LookUp for Outlook page, click Get it now.
    4. The next time you open Outlook, you will see the Responsive add-in in the ribbon. You can connect to Responsive LookUp and begin working.

    Setting Up the Offline Version

    1. Click the highlighted icon and click Get Add-Ins.

    2. The Add-Ins for Outlook pop-up appears. Enter Responsive in the Search field to find the Responsive LookUp, and click Add when you find it.
    3. Review the license agreement and privacy policy. If you agree, click Continue.
    4. The next time you open Outlook, you will see the Responsive add-in in the ribbon. You can connect to Responsive LookUp and begin working.
