Overview
Salesforce allows you to create intakes from opportunities, leads, or accounts. The steps involved in setting up intakes in Salesforce are:
- Creating intake links/buttons (creating links/buttons is similar to creating custom fields)
- Adding the intake links/buttons to the Opportunity layout
- Creating intakes from Salesforce

Permissions
Users must have the System Administrator privilege in Salesforce and the Company Administrator privilege in Responsive.
Select the applicable tab for your edition of Responsive.

Creating intake links/buttons

Click Setup, then scroll to the Build
section in the left navigation pane and select
Customize.

Select the object type (Opportunities, for example), then select
Buttons, Links, and Actions.

Click New Button or Link.

Enter the following values for the fields:
- Label: Enter Create Intake in Responsive
- Name: Enter Create_Intake_in_Responsive
- Description: Enter Create Intake in Responsive
- Display Type: Select Detail Page Button
- Behavior: Select Display in Existing page without Sidebar or Header
- Content Source: Specify as URL
- Select Field Type: Select Opportunity
- Insert Field: Select Insert Merge Field

Type one of the following in the URL text box:
- If your Salesforce URL is rfpio.ap1.visual.force.com, type https://rfpio.ap1.visual.force.com/apex/rfpio__CreateNewRfpioIntake?ObjectId={!Opportunity.Id}
- If your salesforce URL is rfpio.ap15.visual.force.com, type https://rfpio.ap15.visual.force.com/apex/rfpio__CreateNewRfpioIntake?ObjectId={!Opportunity.Id}

Click Save, then click OK on the
alert message that displays.
The details of the created button/link displays:
Follow a similar process to create Intake buttons/links for leads and accounts.
Adding intake buttons/links to the Opportunity layout
Once the Create Intake in Responsive button/link is created, the Opportunity layout must be edited to display the newly created button.
- Click the Opportunities tab, select an opportunity, then click Edit Layout.

Click Buttons, then select
Create Intake In Responsive and drag and drop it
in the Custom Button section.
The added button displays as shown below:
- Click Save.
Adding intake details to the Opportunity layout
To view the intakes created in Responsive and Salesforce in the Salesforce page, the Opportunity layout must be edited to display the intakes.
- Click the opportunity name, then click Edit Layout.

From Fields, drag Section and drop it
under Opportunity Details.

On the Section Properties pop-up, type
Responsive Intakes in the Section Name
field.
- Select 1-Column for the layout and click OK.

Click Visualforce Pages, then drag
OpportunityIntakeDetailsPage and drop it under the
newly created Responsive Intakes section.
- Once the Visualforce page has been added, click the Settings icon or double-click on the layout to display the Visualforce Page Properties pop-up.

Type 500 in the Height (in pixels) field
to have extra space for viewing the projects.
- To show scrollbars and labels, select the associated checkboxes.

Click OK. The layout displays as shown below:

Click Save to save the changes. The Opportunity
layout displays as shown below:
Modifying fields in the Intake Details section
- Click Setup > Build > Create > Objects, then click ResponsiveIntakeDetails.

Scroll down to the Field Sets section and click
Edit in the Intake Field Sets section.
- Click Opportunity Id.

Drag the required fields to the In The Field Set
section as shown below:
- To remove any selected filed, click the field, followed by the Delete icon.
- The selected fields display only in the opportunity's Intake Details section.
- Click Save to save the selections.
Follow a similar process to create Intake buttons/links for leads and accounts.
Creating intakes from Salesforce

From the Opportunities page, click
Create Intake In Responsive.

Once you are taken to the Create Intake page in
Salesforce, select the Company Name, specify the required details,
and click Create.

The Intake is created and displayed in the
Manage Intake page of Responsive with the
Salesforce icon.
Intake details will be displayed in Salesforce page as shown below:

Click Setup, then scroll to the Build
section in the left navigation pane and select
Customize.

Creating intake links/buttons

Click Setup, then scroll to the Build
section in the left navigation pane and select
Customize.

Select the object type (Opportunities, for example), then select
