Setting default review cycles

Overview

Admins can set default review cycles for owners of content in the Content Library, and for situations where Owners are added to Section Templates. 

Permissions

You must be an Admin to perform this task.

Setting default review cycles

The review process set here can be modified from the Content Library.

  1. Go to Organization Settings > Content Library > Content Review and click Configure next to Scheduled Review.
  2. Turn the Scheduled Review toggle on.
  3. Enter the number of days you wish the review cycle to be (180, for example).
  4. Specify the review task creation date. Review tasks can be created from this date until the next review date. For example, if the Review Task Creation is set as 5 days and Default Review Cycle is set as 90 days, you can select the content review date between the 86th and 90th days.
  5. Select the default review process for each.

    • Any: Any of the assigned Owners can complete the review for the content that is due for review.
    • All: All Owners must review and mark the Complete Review button for the content that is due for review.
    • Sequential: Review will be complete only when all reviewers complete their review in sequence.
      Note: The selection made here is applied to this content only. Existing content will still have the former review process.

    A warning would be displayed as shown below:

  6. Click Got it!. Next, click Save to update the selections.

The default review process set here would be displayed while adding content to the library. However, you can modify them the content creation page.
