Self-Signing Documents Using eSignature

Overview

This article specifically refers to using the application's eSignature feature. For information about using eSignature with projects see Triggering eSignature from projects.

You can sign documents within Responsive by using eSignature. There are two options for signing documents: signing documents yourself or sending signature requests to others.

Self-Signing Documents Using eSignature

  1. Select eSignature from the App Launcher menu and select Sign Yourself.

  2. Add your document. You can upload one, selecting one from the Document Library, or add via an enabled cloud storage integration.
    Note: Only .docx, .pptx, .pdf, .png, .jpeg, .jpg, and .bmp file types are supported.
  3. Check the I’m the only signer box at the bottom of the screen, then click Next.
  4. Click and drag fields (such as Signature, Initials, Date, and Text) to the document.
    Note: A signature can be created or edited by clicking on it once the field has been added, or it can be created from the Dashboard.

  5. Click Finish. A confirmation page will appear where the document can be downloaded.
    Note: The document can also be downloaded at any time from the Recent section of the Dashboard tab, or from the Documents tab.
