Saving Q&A Content to the Library from Projects

Overview

You can save content to the Answer Library via toggle switches available at different levels within the application (the Instance level, Project level, Section level, and Question level).

  • All Q&A pairs created within a project will be saved to the Content Library when your instance is first activated.
  • Q&A pairs are saved to the Content Library only once the project is marked as Complete. See Marking Projects as Complete for more information.

Disable the setting to prevent users from adding repeat content, or enable the setting to allow users to easily and automatically save new content.

Select the applicable tab for your edition of Responsive.

  • Enabling Answer Library Save Options

    To enable/disable saving Q&A pairs at the Instance level:

    1. Go to Organization Settings > Project > Preferences.
    2. Click Edit next to Answer Library Save Options.
    3. Click the Save Answers in Answer Library toggle to enable/disable the option, then click Submit.

      • When updating this setting at the Instance level, any saved changes apply only to projects created after clicking Submit.
      • As a best practice, we recommend keeping the Save in Answer Library toggle on at the Organization level while you build up your Library. Once you’ve established your Library content, turn the Save in Answer Library toggle off. This will allow you to maintain a greater level of accuracy and control over your content long-term.

    Saving Q&A Content to the Content Library from Projects

    Once enabled, each toggle can be enabled/disabled at the Instance level, Project level, Section level, and Question level depending on your needs. This provides an efficient way to maintain control of content in the Library and ensures duplicates are minimized and Q&A pairs remain accurate.

    Configuring at the Project Level

    1. From the sections page, click the Menu option and select Project Settings. The Project Settings pop-up appears.
    2. Click Save in Answer Library  and turn on the Save in Answer Library toggle. 
    3. Click Save.



    Configuring at the Section Level

    1. Select the checkbox associated with the sections or select the Select All checkbox to select all sections.
    2. Click Save in Answer Library.


    Configuring at the Question Level

    1. Turn on the Save in Answer Library toggle to save the answer to the Content Library.
    2. Click the icon next to the toggle to see the Save in Answer Library settings.
