Relating Q&A Pairs in the Content Library

Overview

Responsive allows you to relate content so you can, for example, relate similar answers. When one answer needs to be updated, you can check to see if the others need to be changed too.

The translations of Q&A pairs are automatically linked.

Select the applicable tab for your edition of Responsive.

  • Relating Q&A Pairs in the Content Library

    1. On the document or Q&A pair, select the More Options menu, and then click Relate To.
    2. The Related Content tab appears, displaying any existing related content. Click + Add Related Content.
    3. A list of Q&A pairs appears. If you see the ones you want, select them. Click the Show content in Moderation/Review if you want to include those pairs.
    4. You can use the advanced search feature to find the content you want. Click the filter icon to see the available filters, including tags, collections, star rating, and more. Click + Add Filter to see more options.
    5. When you have entered all your criteria, click Apply.
    6. Click Related Content or the View Properties icon to see any content related to the pair you found in the advanced search and to see its properties. Select the checkbox for the pair(s) you want to relate to the original.
    7. When you have selected the pair(s) you want, click Relate.
    8. The pair(s) will be related, and will appear on the Related Content tab for the original pair.
    9. (Optional) Click the Subscribe icon to receive notifications about updates to the related content. Click the Subscribed toggle, and then click Save.
    10. (Optional) Click the Un-relate icon to unrelate the pair from the original pair.

    Relating Q&A Pairs in the Content Library

    1. On the document or Q&A pair, select the More Options menu, and then click Relate To.
    2. The Related Content tab appears, displaying any existing related content. Click + Add Related Content.
    3. A list of Q&A pairs appears. If you see the ones you want, select them. Click the Show content in Moderation/Review if you want to include those pairs.
    4. You can use the advanced search feature to find the content you want. Click the filter icon to see the available filters, including tags, collections, star rating, and more. Click + Add Filter to see more options.
    5. When you have entered all your criteria, click Apply.

    10. (Optional) Click the Un-relate icon to unrelate the pair from the original pair.
