Reassigning the Super Admin Role to Another User

Overview

Only one user within a Responsive instance can be assigned the Super Admin role at a time.

Permissions

Only the Super Admin can reassign a user to be the new Super Admin.

If your Super Admin left your company, reach out to Responsive Support to have the Super Admin reassigned to a different user within your organization.

Select the applicable tab for your edition of Responsive.

  • Reassigning the Super Admin Role to Another User

    1. Go to Organization Settings >User Management > Manage Users, then click on the user to be assigned as the new Super Admin.

    2. At the bottom of the page, click More > Set as Super Admin.

    3. Confirm the selection, then click Next.

    4. Select your new role (the default is Admin with ALL Permissions), then click Update.
      Note: Once reassigned, you will be logged out; log back into Responsive to see the changes.

    Reassigning the Super Admin Role to Another User

    1. Go to Organization Settings >User Management > Manage Users, then click on the user to be assigned as the new Super Admin.
