Reassigning the Super Admin role to another user

Overview

Only one user at a time within a Responsive instance can be assigned the Super Admin role.

Permissions

Only the Super Admin can reassign a user to be the new Super Admin.

If your Super Admin left your company, reach out to Responsive Support to have the Super Admin reassigned to a different user within your organization.

Reassigning the Super Admin role to another user

  1. Go to Organization Settings > Users > Manage Users, then click on the user to be assigned as the new Super Admin.
  2. From the left pane, click Set as Super Admin.
  3. Confirm the selection, then click Proceed.
  4. Select your new role (the default is Admin with ALL Permissions), then click Update.
    Note: Once reassigned, you will be logged out; log back into Responsive to see the changes.
