Onboarding Guide for Core Admins

Overview

We hear this question all the time:

“How have your other customers been successful in their implementation?”

The (not-so-secret) answer:

We see the most successful implementation when there is a dedicated team on the Customer’s side that is equally engaged with us. We don’t just want to show you where to click around in the tool; we want you to be strategic, and to feel confident in your plans for rolling out an organized Content Library and a streamlined Project Workflow. The best way to achieve this is to make your implementation a priority within your organization.

We developed this Onboarding Guide to help you, the Core Admin team, expedite your learning and plan a strategic implementation. Use this guide to supplement your Train-the-Trainer sessions.

Additionally  once you have been onboarded, we have created a guide to walk you through best practices for starting your deployment plan and how to use our curated End User Training Guide to get your team up and running as quickly as possible.

Keys to a Successful Implementation

  1. Identify all key stakeholders during the Kickoff, ensure Core Admins are assigned and available for the duration of the Onboard (block time on calendars if needed).
  2. Our best practice is to schedule ALL Onboarding sessions during the Kickoff, and make sure participants are able to prioritize the onboarding activities.
  3. The Onboard should be completed in ~6 weeks, and go-live within 90 days; our most successful clients stick to the Onboarding plan established during the Kickoff.
  4. Stakeholders should be engaged and prioritize the learnings from all Onboarding sessions, and should come prepared with the materials outlined by the Onboarding Consultant.
  5. Stakeholders should be engaged and prioritize the learnings from all Onboarding sessions, and should come prepared with the materials outlined by the Onboarding Consultant.
  6. Continue using Responsive between training sessions, applying lessons learned from your Onboarding Consultant; enroll in the New Admin Onboarding course in the Responsive Academy and search the Help Center for pertinent articles.
  7. Develop a deployment plan and leverage best practices in our End User Training Guide to get your team up and running as quickly as possible. It contains materials for users who will be:
    • Content Searchers
