While exporting a response package to template, under Answer Style, indentation options can be selected to determine how indented response text will be displayed upon export.
1st Option – Align answer text with question text, and retain additional indentation in the answer
Upon selecting this option and exporting responses:
- If an answer style is selected, the answer text and image will be indented based on the indentation specified in the selected answer style.
- If an answer style is not selected, the answer text and image will be indented based on the question.
- Tables in the answer text will be indented and formatted based on the selected table style. If a table style is not selected, then the table will be indented or aligned based on the answer.
- Any additional indentation specified in the answer will be retained.
2nd Option – Align answer text with question text, but do not retain additional indentation in the answer
Upon selecting this option and exporting responses:
- If an answer style is selected, the answer text and image will be indented based on the indentation specified in the selected answer style.
- If an answer style is not selected, the answer text and image will be indented based on the question.
- Tables in the answer text will be indented and formatted based on the selected table style. If a table style is not selected, then the table will be indented or aligned based on the answer.
- Any additional indentations specified in the answer will not be retained.
3rd Option - Use Indentation as specified in the template
Upon selecting this option and exporting responses:
- Answer text will be indented based on the indentation specified in the selected answer style.
- Any additional indentation specified in the answer will not be retained.
- Images embedded in the answer text will also be indented based on the indentation specified in the selected answer style.
- Tables in the answer text will be indented and formatted based on the selected table style.
