Creating Standard Responses

Overview

Users can set up a standard response in the Organization Settings for both drop-down and radio answer types.

Select the applicable tab for your edition of Responsive.

  • Scenario: A user has drop-down or radio answer type questions that have the value of either Yes or No in the library content. Another user imports a document in the project with similar questions, but the drop-down or radio answer type values are True or False. This new feature will act as a bridge for two different values and map them to one value as shown below.

If the value is either Yes or True, the standard response will take it as Agree. Similarly, for the values No or False, the standard response will be taken as Disagree

Go to Organization Settings, select Content Library > Standard Response and then click Create New.

Add your chosen standard response and click Create.

Users can configure the standard response during import.

Select the Answer Type as Dropdown. The Answer Options pop-up appears.

Configure the standard response and click Ok.

    Click SAVE.

Similarly, users can configure radio answer types.

  • Essentials features are subscription-based and may not be available for all users. Contact your account manager, or accountmanagers@responsive.io, for more details.
