Configuring Project Settings

Overview

Project settings determine how notifications are handled, if answers will be stored in the library, parameters Responsive will use when searching the library, and the answer type template to use for the project (optional).

For a visual guide, refer to the Academy course Customizing Project Settings.

Select the applicable tab for your edition of Responsive.

  • Configuring Project Settings

You can access Project Settings from the project’s Menu:

The Project Settings screen lets you turn notifications on and off. You can also specify how Responsive should handle messages when Track Message as Comments is enabled for the project.

Select Save in Answer Library to specify if the project’s answers should be saved to your Answer Library by default. You can also specify a star rating for the answers, if attachments should also be saved, business unit information, owners and more.

Click Answer Library Search to specify the parameters Responsive will use to find content in your Answer Library to respond to questions.

You can specify what percentage of the question should appear in the Answer Library question for it to be included as a recommendation. You can also specify if queries should look in Answer Library Answers, Questions or both, if they should include images, attachments, or tags, how many times the answers were used, when they were last reviewed, and more.

Click Answer Type Template to specify an existing answer type template to use for the project.

Note: If your organization has integrated Responsive with Slack, Hangouts or Microsoft Teams, you will see tabs for them below Answer Type Template

Click AI Assistant Filter to specify the filters based on which the AI assistant should retrieve content.

After making any changes, click Save.

Click Preview Response Setup to select a template to preview the project's responses. You can search and add templates.

Click Past Project Search to enable searching content from past projects. You can select the project status and dates. When you are finished, click Save.

See the video below for a quick walkthrough of the process. Click the dot to see each step.
