Configuring project settings

Overview

Project settings determine how notifications are handled, whether or not answers will be stored in the Content Library, the parameters Responsive uses when searching your library, and the answer type template to use for the project (optional).

For a visual guide, refer to the Academy course Customizing Project Settings.

Configuring project settings

  1. Go to the Sections page, then click Menu > Project Settings.
  2. The Project Settings screen opens, defaulting to the Project Settings tab. Do the following as necessary:
    • Project Settings tab: Turn the Project Notification toggle on or off. You can also specify how Responsive should handle messages when Track Message as Comments is enabled for the project.
    • Save in Answer Library tab: Turn the Save in Answer Library on to specify if the project’s answers should be saved to your Answer Library by default. You can also specify a star rating for the answers, if attachments should also be saved, business unit information, set authors and reviewers as owners, and more. Click the walkthrough below for an example:
    • Answer Library Search tab: Specify the parameters used to find content in your Answer Library to respond to questions, including what percentage of the question should appear in the Answer Library question for it to be included as a recommendation. You can also specify if queries should look in Answer Library Answers, Questions or both, if they should include images, attachments, or tags, how many times the answers were used, when they were last reviewed, and more.
    • Answer Type Template tab: Specify an existing Answer Type template to use for the project.
Note: If your organization has enabled the Slack, Hangouts or Microsoft Teams integrations you will see tabs for them below the Answer Type template.
    • AI Assistant Filter tab: Specify the filters that AI assistant should use to retrieve content.
    • Preview Response Setup tab: Select a template to preview the project's responses. You can search and add templates.
    • Past Project Search tab: Enable searching content from past projects. You can select the project status and dates.
  3. Click Save.
