Configuring Account Settings

Overview

After your account has been created, it is recommended that you check your account settings and configure them accordingly.

Select the applicable tab for your edition of Responsive.

  • Configuring Account Settings

    To configure account settings, click on your profile avatar in the top right corner, then click on Your Account.

    The settings are divided into four tabs, and the Profile tab is displayed by default.
    1. Profile: Personal details like your roles and permissions, photo and location
    2. Preferences: Email notifications, display preferences, and newsletter subscriptions
    3. Settings: Change your password and set up two-factor authentication
    4. Integrations: Set up integrations with other applications and generate API tokens

    Editing Profile Information

    Your profile information can be found in the Profile tab of account settings.

    To add/edit your profile photo, hover over the picture icon. Click the camera icon, click Upload new photo, and then find and upload the photo you want to use as shown below:

    The page shows your roles and email address next to your photo. Click your role to see the permissions you have. Click the eye icon eye.png to see all the permissions.

    To add/edit your profile information, click in the field you want to change, make your change and then click the checkmark. Click the X to cancel the change.

    Setting Preferences

    Your email, display, and newsletter subscription preferences can be configured under the Preferences tab. Click on the corresponding header to set your preferences, and don’t forget to click Save to implement any changes.

    Email Preferences

    Your email preferences determine what product emails you would like to receive. Go to the email preferences article to learn more about each email toggle.

    Display Preferences

    Your display preferences allow you to select default landing pages in the Responsive app.

    • Default Landing Page: determines the default page that will appear upon logging in to the Responsive app. You can choose from:
      • My Work
      • Manage Projects
      • Answer Library
      • Document Library
      • Reports
    • Default Project Landing Page: determines the default landing page to navigate to after selecting a project name. You can choose from:
      • I will decide when I click on the project
      • My Questions View
      • Project Dashboard
      • Section List

    Newsletter Subscription Preferences

    Your newsletter subscription preferences determine what newsletter emails you would like to receive from the Responsive app.

    • Monthly Newsletter: Sent once per month to Admins and Super Admins, and is a digest/highlight for everything in the app.
    • Event Communications: Invites to Responsive's webinars and conferences.
    • Product Release Notes: Includes the latest enhancements to Responsive.
    • General Marketing Communications: Includes information about new product rollouts, surveys, and thought leadership blogs with industry news.

  • Essentials features are subscription-based and may not be available for all users. Contact your account manager, or accountmanagers@responsive.io, for more details.
