Auto-Identifying Drop-Downs in Excel

Overview

When you import an Excel worksheet with defined drop-downs, the auto-identify button will allow you to populate all drop-down fields within the worksheet.

You need to convert drop-down options in Excel into convenient drop-down options in Responsive.

Select the applicable tab for your edition of Responsive.

  • Auto-Identifying Drop-Downs in Excel

    When users import an Excel worksheet with defined drop-downs, the auto-identify button will allow you to populate all drop-down fields within the worksheet.

    Upload the Excel file to your project.

    Select the answer column and map it with Answer from the options menu.

    The system will automatically identify the drop-downs in the sheet. Click Auto-Identify-Drop-Downs to view all fields.

    Select the checkbox to change the answer header (if required) and click Apply.

    The Answer Configuration pop-up appears. Click Save.

    Finally, import the configured question and answer. Users can select the answer from the drop-down and export back in the source.
