Managing Document Updates

Overview

Updates to Documents added from the Content Library are easily tracked and indicated by an orange notification dot next to the document's profile on the Active tab of the Profile Center.

When viewing a profile, you can quickly identify the document with changes by looking for the notification dot, as shown below:

  • Card View

For profile drafts, a Review button is available on the document that has an update on the profile tab.

For published profiles, the notification dot is displayed next to the document with the update. However, to review the update, you'll need to edit the profile and then click Review.

Reviewing Document Update

Within Profile Center, you have the option to review and manage document changes. You can either Accept or Reject the updated document, or choose to retain the current version.

To begin the review process, click Review.

The document reviewing page is displayed. Here you can toggle between viewing the Current Version or the Updated Version of the document.

In the current document view, clicking Keep Original retains the version of the document that currently exists in the profile and discards the updated version.

In the updated document view, you can select Accept to replace the document in the profile with the new version from the Content Library. Alternatively, click Reject to discard the new version of the document.

If you wish to download the existing version of the document that is currently available in the profile, click Hide Updates, and then click Download. To return to the profile view, click Close or click View Updates to go back to the reviewing document versions.
