Editing Proposals and Adding Attachments

Overview

You can edit the proposal after it has been built in the following ways.

  • Edit Proposal on Responsive
  • Edit in Word Online

Editing Proposals

To make changes to the proposal, click Edit Proposal. Saving the proposal after updating it will create a new version, which you can view from the drop-down menu.

Note:

  • The version details are indicated on the Active tab of the Proposal list page.
  • A new version is created only when changes are made. Updating the Proposal Name, Description, or Tags, will not create new versions.
  • There is no limit on the number of versions you can create.
  • Older versions of the proposal are view only and cannot be edited/modified.
  • Editing the proposal with pending reviews will reset the review.

Edit in Word Online

To make edits to the proposal using Microsoft Word Online, click Edit in Word Online. Any changes you make to the proposal will be visible when you return after closing the Word Online window.

Editing is indicated as shown, when the proposal is being edited in Word Online. Hovering over the indicator displays the users who are currently editing the document.

Add Attachments

You can choose to attach files to the proposal that you intend to share.

To include files with the proposal, switch to the Attachment tab and click Attach file to upload the document. You can upload files from your computer or the Document Library.
