Document Analyzer

Overview

A Document Analyzer is a tool or system that is designed to analyze documents or textual content to provide a quick summary of the document along with some key information . It leverages various AI techniques and ML algorithms to extract information, detect patterns, and derive insights from the given documents. Document Analyzer can be used for a wide range of purposes, such as data extraction, text classification, and more.

The primary goal of Document Analyzer is to automatically process and understand the content within documents, enabling efficient information retrieval, knowledge extraction, and decision-making. By simplifying the analysis of large volumes of documents, it helps businesses and organizations save time, reduce manual effort, and gain valuable insights from their textual data.

If the user wants to know the proposal delivery date, he/she does not need to run through the document. With Document Analyzer, the user can extract the dates using the Key Date entity and easily locate the proposal delivery date.

Select the applicable tab for your edition of Responsive.

  • Analyzing a Document

    To analyze a document, follow the steps below:

    1. In the Workspace page, click on the workspace where you want to analyze a document.
      The Workspace Homepage will display Traceability Matrix, Compliance Matrix, Responsibility Matrix, and Document Analyzer.
    2. Click the plus icon associated with Document Analyzer. The Select Document page will be displayed with the documents available in the workspace.
    3. To add a document other than the listed document, click Add a New Document.

    1. The Add Document page will appear. Select the document and click Add.

    1. Select the document which you want to analyze.

    1. Click Next from the upper-right corner. The Select Entities page appears.
    2. Select the entities to be extracted from the document. Minimum one entity must be selected.

    1. Click Next. The document will be analyzed and the Analyzing page as shown below will be displayed.

    Note: Analyzing large documents may take a longer time. You can navigate to other pages when the document is being analyzed. Once analyzed, an email notification will be sent to you.

    Once the document is analyzed, a success message will appear. The extracted entities will be displayed as shown below:

    Managing Entities

    The following actions can be performed:

    • You can update entities by clicking Update Entities. The Update Entities pop-up appears. Select the entities to be added for extraction. Click Update.

    The document will be analyzed again and extracted entities will be displayed.

    • You can delete any extracted entity by clicking the associated delete icon.
    • To view and move to any extracted entities, click the icon and select the required entity.
    • When there are multiple occurrences of an entity, you can navigate to the previous/next occurrences by clicking the previous/next icons.
    • To export the extracted entities to a PDF file, click Export PDF.

    View Analyzed Document

    • To view the analyzed details of a document, simply clicking on it will bring up the page where the extracted entities appear.
