Overview
While viewing Library content or answering questions, you can customize the metadata that is displayed on the content card. The setting is applied to all the users associated with the project.
You can customize the content card metadata at the individual, project. or organization level.
Permissions
- Users must have the Update Project Information permission to customize the metadata and apply it at the project level (all the users associated with the project).
Note: Setting the metadata for all project users is applied as default. However, users can override this by manually setting this up for themselves. - Users must have access to Organization Settings to customize metadata at the Organization level.
Note: Once the metadata settings are applied at the Organization level, they serve as the default for all projects. However, users with the Update Project Information permission can override these settings for any specific project as needed. Additionally, project users have the ability to override both Project and Organizational level preferences by manually configuring it for themselves.
Select the applicable tab for your edition of Responsive.

Customizing content card metadata at the individual user level
- Click on the Recommendation pane. The Customize Metadata pop-out displays a consolidated list of metadata that are currently active and the ones you can add.
- Click to remove it from the content card.
- Click and drag the handle to reorder it.
- Click to add it to the content card.
- Once you are done you can click out of the Customize Metadata pop-out.
Customizing content card metadata at project level
Note: Setting the metadata for all project users is applied as default. However, users can override this by manually setting this up for themselves.
- Click on the Recommendation pane. The Customize Metadata pop-out displays with a list of available metadata you can add and the ones that are currently active.
- Click to remove it from the content card.
- Click and drag the handle to reorder it.
- Click to add it to the content card.
- Once you are done, click Apply to this Project Users.
Customizing Content Card Metadata at Organization Level
Note: Once the metadata settings are applied at the Organization level, they serve as the default for all projects. However, users with the Update Project Information permission can override these settings for any specific project as needed. Additionally, project users have the ability to override both Project and Organizational level preferences by manually configuring it for themselves.
- Go to Organization Settings > Project > Preference and click Configure next to Customize Metadata.
- Choose the metadata entities you want to display by default to the users.
- Click Save to save the settings.
- Click on the Recommendation pane. The Customize Metadata pop-out displays a consolidated list of metadata that are currently active and the ones you can add.

Customizing content card metadata at organization level
You must have access to Organization Settings to perform this task.
Note: Once the metadata settings are applied at the organization level, they serve as the default for all projects. However, users with the Update Project Information permission can override these settings for any specific project as needed. Additionally, project users have the ability to override both Project and Organizational level preferences by manually configuring it for themselves.- Go to Organization Settings > Response Projects > Preference and click Configure next to Customize Metadata.
- Choose the metadata entities you want to display by default to the users.
- Click Save to save the settings.
- Click on the Recommendation pane. The Customize Metadata pop-out displays a consolidated list of metadata that are currently active and the ones you can add.
