Overview
You can identify any content that is outdated or has not been used (or edited) over a period of time.
Note: If content is copied or edited, it is no longer considered obsolete.
This feature is enabled by default and has a set time period of one year; however, you can customize the timeframe.
Select the applicable tab for your edition of Responsive.

Enabling the obsolete content feature
- Go to Organization Settings > Content Library > Preferences, then click Duplicate and Obsolete Content.
- Do the following to customize the feature:
- Select the time frame beyond which the content should be considered obsolete.
- Select the frequency you want the summary of obsolete content to be emailed to you.
- Select the users who should receive the obsolete content email notifications.
- Select the roles for which the email notification should be sent to.
- Click Save.

Viewing obsolete content
You can view, edit, delete or archive obsolete content from the Content Library.
- Click the Tools icon and select Obsolete Content.
- When the Obsolete Content page appears, you can do the following:
- View the last used/edited date.
- Click the Edit icon to edit the content.
Note: Once the content is edited it is no longer considered obsolete. - Click Delete to delete the content, or Archive to archive the content.
Using the advanced filter to search for obsolete content
- Click the Advance Filter icon and select your obsolete content criteria, then click Apply.
Note: If the Obsolete Content section doesn't appear in your advanced search options, click Apply Filter and select it from the list. - Once the content appears, you can click the Content Cleaner link to delete or archive the content.
Viewing obsolete content on the Content Library Insights page
- Click the Insights icon.
- Scroll down to the Obsolete Content tile to view the information.
- Go to Organization Settings > Content Library > Preferences, then click Duplicate and Obsolete Content.
