Overview
You can export responses for projects when they are complete and ready to submit or when they are active and you want to run a test to preview the final output.
Exports include everything at the moment of generation. If you change the content after an export you must create a new export package to see those changes.
Exporting responses
- Open the request and select Export Responses from the left navigation pane.
- Click New Export Responses.
- Select the Export Type from the drop-down options.
- Click Next.
- Select the template.
Note: If Word is selected as the export type, you can alternatively create a new Word template by clicking New Template. Also, you can export the responses to individual files by selecting Export to Individual Files. - Click Export to export the package.
- When done, you can view the exported responses on the Export Responses page as shown below:
- You can click the three-dot Menu associated with the export package to view options to rename the package, send the package for signature and self-sign the package.
- When done, you can view the exported responses on the Export Responses page as shown below:
Creating Word export templates
- Select Word as your export type, then click Next. The Templates page appears.
- Click New Template. When the Create Template pop-up appears enter a name for the template, specify the project type and upload the template file.
- Once uploaded, specify tags, the section style, question style, answer style, table style, and catalog heading style for the template.
- Click Create to add the template and update it on the Templates page.
- (Optional) Click New Template to add more templates and follow the same process outlined above.
