Adding questions to sections

Overview

You can manually add more questions to existing sections.

Adding questions to sections

  1. Click the More Options menu of the section and select Add Questions

  2. Type the question in the Question field. You can press Enter after typing the question to add another.
  3. Select a parent question (if applicable), the authors, and the reviewers.
    • You can click the Help me choose authors link to search and add authors.
    • If you'll have multiple reviewers:
      • Select Any if any one of the reviewers can complete the review.
      • Select All if all of the reviewers must complete it.
      • Select Sequential if all reviewers must complete the review in a specified order.
  4. Specify the answer type information.
    • Choose the answer header and answer type.
    • Click Index if the label should be stored in the Content Library with the Q&A pair.
    • Click Required if an answer must be entered for the question.
    • Click the Edit Icon to set Text Input Limit (Character or Word limits).
    • Click + Add answer type to add another answer type row.
  5. Click Advanced Settings and specify if the answer number should be generated automatically or manually.
  6. (Optional) If you have multiple questions, select Queue email notification so the authors and reviewers only receive one email with all their questions. Otherwise they'll get an email for every question.
  7. Click Add.
