Overview
After assigning sections and questions to guest users, you can reassign or remove them as needed.
Reassigning sections to guests
- Click the More Options menu of the section or question you want to reassign and select Manage Users. The Manage Users pane opens, defaulting to the Authors tab. Click the Guests tab.
- Click the Remove icon
to remove a guest or the Add icon
to add one.
Note: If you remove yourself as an author before attempting to reassign the section or question, you won't be able to modify other users. - Specify if you want to include a custom message in the notification, and if you want that message to be included with tracked comments.
- If you plan to send multiple notifications to the same person, select Queue & Notify Later so they only receive one notification. Otherwise the notification will be sent immediately.
- Click Save.
Reassigning guest users to questions in sections
- On the Answering page, click the More Options menu for the question you want to assign and select Manage Users.
- The Manage Users pane appears, defaulting to the Authors tab. Click the Guests tab.
- Click the Remove icon
to remove a guest or the Add icon
to add one.
Note: If you remove yourself as an author before attempting to reassign the section or question, you won't be able to modify other users. - (Optional) Send a message to the guest, track the message as a comment, or queue notifications and send them at once.
- Click Save.
