Using Negotiations

Overview

The Negotiations feature effectively manages communication and gathers necessary updates or clarifications from the vendors on specific responses without needing to reshare the entire project. This feature is accessible from the Response Comparison and Scoring page, facilitates targeted communication within a dedicated message thread, ensuring clarity and efficiency throughout your evaluation process.

Starting a Negotiation

  1. Go to the Response Comparison or Scoring page.
  2. Identify the question and select the vendor you want to engage with.
  3. Click the Negotiation icon . The Negotiation window appears.
  4. Add a message and reopen the necessary questions only.

Communicating and collecting updates

  • The message thread with the vendor appears under the Vendor Communication page.
  • All vendor team members involved in the relevant section, including the project’s primary contact, receive an email notification.
  • The vendor updates only the reopened questions, no need to reshare the full questionnaire.
